About
Andrea Sebastianelli (Vasto, 1992) lives in Milan where he works as furniture designer for Antonio Citterio design Studio. He got his Bachelor’s degree from ISIA of Pescara, where he attended an exchange program at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design of Budapest. He also got a Master degree from the Free University of Bozen.
With his practice, he aims at a deep understanding of materials and at the engagement of the craftsmen work, through a systemic approach. Through his projects, he not only focuses on the quality of the final product but on the entire production process.
His work has been displayed in international galleries and expositions: Biblioteca Umanistica dell’Incoronata, Museo del Tessuto di Prato, MAD Bruxelles, The Strzemiński Academy of Art in Łódź.
He works as a designer for Antonio Citterio, ACPV Architects, Museo del Tessuto di Prato, TheNewRaw and the design company Arco.
